Trainhoppers hated on in today's Journal-Gazette

Talk about anything specifically related to local music. Local CD's, websites, local, local, local!

The Trainhoppers are a blight on music and our fair city, and should never be forced on an unsuspecting public.

Bring on Zamfir! Let the kids rule!

It was a cheap shot by someone apparently passed over as a part of what appears to have been a relatively successful event. Although I tend to disagree with the event's promotion as well (as I do many downtown events), no one was permanently scarred by the decisions made.

Oh, and if you don't think your kids can handle being out in an all ages event, and need to have a more structured playdate, DON'T TAKE THEM. Pretty simple fix there.

Don't know the author of the letter, but it appears she was at least a little bitter (or maybe just concerned? Nah...bitter...) and decided to rant before the event had even taken place. Not worth listening to. Let it drop.

(PS. I like the Trainhoppers. TIC=110%. Don't flame me.)

i guarantee the kids hear worse sh*t on the radio than they ever would at a Trainhopper show.

For Example: Crazy b*tch, U & UR Hand...

so shut the f**k up.

That was totally uncalled for. You guys may not agree with kh man's viewpoint on the issue, but he's certainly entitled to have one. He presented his views in a reasonable fashion, with no apparent hostility or animosity.

id rather they listened to the trainhoppers instead of pop a woody or supabadd. even tho both are very family oriented. many families owe their family "ness" to my love jams. oooh yeah!
