so far, we're leaning towards White Hot Noise, a minor variation on Mr. Spall's suggestion... Keep 'em coming though. Second place appears to be Ollie's suggestion of Soul Intervention... 3 of the 5 have their opinions in 2 were WHN 1 w/ SI 2, the other was the reverse...

I tend to avoid negative connotations in names.

I like White Hot Noise....however....

Noise lends itself to a negative feel.

White Hot (fill in the blank)

Groove?

Funk?

Vibe?

Art of Noise? I'm just saying. Good suggestions though... Groove works well...

Everything is noise, I like the white noise thing because of it's other meanings. Also, any band that can call themselves noise and still rock gets bonus points for rising above.

Honestly though, I'm just glad to be in consideration. I just came up with a lot of those on the fly.

Well, we went with White Hot Noise. Not my first choice, but I'm one member, so that's what we settled on. I owe Mr. Spall a CD when we get one done. First show is at 3RF, July 14 at 4:15 in the Meijer Event Tent. Be there for some good funky jams. Oh and the obligatory myspace has been setup. www.myspace.com/whitehotnoise
