Am i Pretty, Cute, or somewhere on the lines of it?

I've been feeling really down about myself lately. One reason has to do with a guy, but i am a very shy and insecure person and i dont believe i am attractive, and maybe others think that way too. so i am going to put myself and my self-esteem on a pedistal, but only for so long, so i am just asking you if you have anything to say, nothing to hasty or cruel. but i will try to take it in the best possible way i can.

I like tall ones, short ones, big ones, little ones, foriegn ones, domestic ones, mouth-like-a-salior ones, all of 'em.

I am the last person you sould ask, but you get my vote. Holy cow!

Your eyes are captivating and innocent. Normally, I only see that in lighter colored eyes (maybe by preference?) but they're big, deep, and inviting. The way you wear your eyeliner makes them even more appealing and pulls attention straight to one of your best facial features.

Your cheekbones are high and smooth, not sharp or chisled, which is good for a woman. It creates a nice, even flow into your jawline and chin. In all honesty, you kind of have a classic anime shape to your head. (which to me, is very good). Your skin tone and clarity is very nice and looks like it's very soft and would be enjoyable to touch.

Garr is getting on the verge of stalker status here. . .but I'll go on and continue the compliments regardless of the fact that someone is going to think I am more screwed up than they already KNOW I am.

Your nose is perfectly proportioned for the other features of your face. One of the best things that you have going for you as far as facial features go is symmetry. Human eyes are attracted to symmetry and when one side of your face closely matches the other side it makes you more attractive. Your eyes are evenly spaced, your nose is centered, your forehead is not too large or wide, and your jawline makes a delicate and beautiful curve into a nice, soft chin that shows off another great feature, your lips. I'll stop my comments now.

In these photos it doesn't look like you're wearing too much makeup, and that is good. You don't need to. Anyhow, I've been going on too long. I hope that my comments help. . .and please don't get a restraining order against me.

Seriously, I'm with Sharkman. There are really no ugly women.

There all different kinds of women and if men were honest, most of us are not really all that attracted to the anorexic supermodel look. I think, were I 16, I would find you attractive, but alas, I'm 35 and finding you attractive is probably illegal or something, so...

Actually, when I was 16 I was a jock and only dated anorexic supermodel looking women. Then I grew up and realized that I wanted real beauty and a real woman...

Agreed with everyone at this point. If you are really into the Goth-lite thing, that's fine. My best recommendation for you is to be yourself. Seriously. Even if that means changing who have pretended to be to who you really are.

And if someone tells you different, tell them you'll have a bunch of 30-something guys from the FWM board come over and kick his ass. No guy is worth any amount of anguish over something like this...

Girl, I'm giving you some SERIOUS PROPS right now. For the sole purpose that you have done what many women don't want to do. Hear the truth about their looks. It's hard enough to take it from your girlfriends--but a man, especially one you are trying to impress? Pshaw, not so much!

All I can say is girl, be you. Screw everyone else. I managed to let myself get "converted"---I felt reprogrammed. We're talking clothes, demeanor, friends, music, hobbies, employment. Because I didn't feel like I was good enough, or whatever. BLAH FOR ME FOR BEING WEAK! And let me tell you, it's been kinda fun figuring out who I really am. It's such a ride! I can't believe I've been away from me for 5 years!

It's better to realize you are awesome just as you are, than to work at being someone you aren't for someone who doesn't even want what you've turned into when you're done.

You are awesome, you are beautiful! Just be comfortable with who you are. You can't make someone like you, even if you change or stay the same.

I'd rather there be a balance in percentage. Effort coming from both sides.

I can't speak for all the ladies, because there are some STRONG ASS CHICK'S out there. And high five to you girls for not giving a flying f*ck. I've learned a LOT recently about how much I really care/don't care about relating to the opposite sex.

I guess I can say this, when you finally tear down the wall that you've built up and let someone in, you just get a little nervous about how this new person is going to treat you. From what I've experienced and discussed with my other girlfriends (20yrs-35 yrs old) validation is appreciated at times.

Jes, I still say kick ass for having brass balls and putting up a poll. More power to you!

No, really, I think it's great too. It's not very often that someone is willing to be honest from either side. To completely open one's self to the candid criticism or praise of others takes balls bigger than mine.

I'm wholly impressed by both Jes' willingness to open herself to that and your ability to be candid and frank with the men.

I agree about the percent. I think there should be equal effort, and normally that's where a relationship works best. When both people are into each other and the relationship equally.
