I was tipped to this website that is pretty cool. It may be old news, but it is the first I heard of it.

You can program your own internet radio by picking songs or artists you like, then based on your picks they will play songs from that artists and other in that genre. You can add a bunch of bands, so in hand genres, to your playlist. Its pretty cool and worth checking out.
