Aww, what a great looking dog. When I was growing up we had a black and tan standard Dachshund. He was a great dog.

For those that didn't make it out...

Newman won his first race by about 3 or 4 lengths of a wiener (8 or 9 inches).

He lost his second race by a nose, barely missing the Sweet 16.

I did to him what my mom used to do to me...used a hotdog as bait to get him to come to me.

We were there. . .but had to go. The boy was getting tired and cranky. We waved hi from the train though! Glad to know you won at least one race! Go Newman!

Zeus was a GOD that day. We were there for the Sweet 16 to the finals. Sorry Dude but I've already got 20 out on Zeus for next year. That li'l dog was highly motivated!

Zues kicked our dogs butt too. He moved like a greased ferret leaving Milicent Von Allen in the dust. Great time though...
