The Best Movies Ever

Post by heaven's chimney »

Hey, I'm knew to the board.

I was trying to tell a pal of mine some movies to check out on Netflix when I drew a blank. I probably go out and see at least one new movie per week, I just can't remember the titles.

What are some of the best movies ever made - irregardless of the date it came out.

Comedies
My Blue Heaven (Steve Martin and Rick Moranis)
Orgazmo (The South Park guys)
Death to Smootchy (Robin Williams, Edward Norton, Danny Devito)
Drama
The Shipping News (Kevin Spacey and Julianne Moore)
Sunshine (Ralph Fiennes, Rosemary Harris and William Hurt)
Immortal Beloved (Gary Oldman and Isabella Rossellini)
My Life (Micheal Keaton and Nicole Kidman)
These probably won't be on anyones most wanted list, but if your friend is a fan of some
really good movies that may not have hit it big in the mainstream market, heres a good start.

Just watched "Green street hooligans" last night! I thought it was good...a little different. Elijah Wood has been making himself bearable to me recently...check out "everything is illuminated" for another good elijah flick. BUT back on the subject of green street....if you were a fan of that check out "the firm" basically all the action of green street without the baggage.
