I can't believe I forgot Vanilla Sky and High Fidelity. Jesus, I'm stupid.

Diner is awesome, and if you went in to Sideways expecting a comedy, then I could see why you couldn't really get in to it.

Giamatti's typically been typecast as the sad sack. Mister Wings has pretty much been off the radar.

Yes, but he is a funny sad sack. I was expecting dry humor but didn't see much of that either. I might need to watch it again knowing it isn't suppose to be funny and see if I like it better.

the reason you did not enjoy sideways has little if anything to do with the amount of comedy.humor involved in the film

the reason you did not enjoy the film is because it is not a very good film
