nah.. its just funny that way... that was the first thing I thought of when I read it.

on a side note about the Nirvana thing, back in the old days (90's) I had a friend with some bootlegs of Nirvana where Kurt was cranking out a solo off a part cover of a Led Zeppelin song. So in fact he may not have displayed the most musicianship in their per say style. But it's not like his musicanship was as horrible as most people think.

Kurt did arrange some pretty good songs. But I can't see how people can say that his lyrics were "deep" and meaningfull. I mean, "Like most babies smell like butter", c'mon give me a break.
Most of it seemed to make some sort of sense at the time.

Like most everything, it depends on the viewer/beholder. The Nirvana song "School" kicked my ass just becasue it was about 'no recess' in school.

I agree with you there. Some of the lyrics were just for the sake of rhyming I think. He did have some interesting play on words though. But that's one thing that annoys me sometimes people who have stupid lyrics. Like alot of popular heavy bands nowadays have used the word "insane" "dead" "kill" in every other song they have. I'm just a bit too much of a poet with meaning I guess.

Ah l'amour.

From Timmy to Nirvana.

Ok ok. I'll say it..

Tim isn't that bad.

He's really opinionated and says what he really thinks.
People took some things he said way too personally...considering this is just a message board anyways....
I don't personally like Nirvana...I never really have, but I wouldn't be a big enough doofus to say they SUCK...

I don't throw my opinions around so loosely because there's probably someone on here who has more education on the subject, and could probably kick me in the judy with what they know and shove my face in it.

I could become more educated on certain subjects...but do I really care to? No. There's more important things to worry about than defending my "Message Board PRIDE."

Maybe some people can agree?

I can agree with that.

What I can't agree with is posting things that anybody with half a gram of common sense would know will get them flamed for miles. That seems like a move to incite, rather than just stating an opinion.

My personal belief is that Tim is a glutton for punishment, and I wouldn't be surprised to see whips and chains hanging next to his studded belt collection.

To each his own.

like I've said before, it's a matter of respect.

Even if he doesn't like Rodney Dangerfield or Nirvana spewing phrases such as "I'm glad Kurt's dead" and "He was never really funny" Won't get him much respect from people who might have admired those media figures.

For some STRANGE reason...I don't think he's out to earn respect...

YET...........he gets upset over everyone criticizing him?

I think everyone has a right to post their true opinion (even if it reveals that they are complete idiots).
