i wandered for an hour or so yesterday before work and i must say i was very, very impressed...

cant wait to go back and be able to take it all in...

haha, no, not like that...

but seriously, its an amazing building and i suggest all of you check it out...

hey ass tard! yes I will be back for a pre alentines day celebration on monday the 12th. I am coming back for Marie's wedding on the 10th.

We are doing a old/new school show again. This time I get to play the songs I actually wrote with the band... All is Well, Wicked Girls, and Swing Sway....

My wife and I went to check out the "grand opening". Seemed more like a chance for local politicians to congratulate each other. Other than the standing around for an hour because none of the areas were open until they were done with their crap, it was pretty cool. The building itself is awesome. There's still A LOT of stuff that needs to be completed, but that's OK.

There's a really large checkout desk, lots of seating, a coffee shop and so on. The auditorium isn't open yet, but by the drawings, looks to be a decent size. The new Genealogy area is immense, for those into that (which I will be visiting often). The childrens area is amazing as well. Lots and lots of stuff for kids to do. Be sure to check out the new "reading tree" that will be in within the next couple weeks (there is a drawing of it). There's also a huge 10-15 foot flat screen TV opposite the check out area. Don't know if there's gonna be couches and stuff there or not, but it looked pretty cool.

I look forward to spending some time there, as opposed to the old location.

Visited yesterday.

1st word = HUGE!

Spacious. This will take many trips to
fully appreciate.

A tremendous asset to downtown.
Have to admit, tax money well spent.

Now need another attraction in or around the
immediate area to compliment. Umm something
that could be utilized "year round" might work.

yea, i thought id beat the "hype" so i showed up around 3...

still decent size crowd, but not shoulder to shoulder or anything like that...

i could still walk without bumping into anyone...

but yea, this place is immense...

will mos def take many trips to fully appreciate...

im going in an hour, damn...
