Right, so I read about all posts here and I'm feeling kind of pissed. I'm not a musician, just a fan and patriot of the city, but sh*t read what's going on. Like the guy keeps saying--it's the fact that Ferguson lied and talked sh*t, not any contract sh*t. A bunch of people keep saying like sorry f...

My band, FUSE, just played at Snickers last week. Great experience. We had NO expectations going in. Kevin was very pleasant and polite to us. Would we do it again? Nope. Only because we don't make a habbit of playing free gigs. If you have the opportunity to play the show, do it. Why not? It's nea...

I've had good luck in this town without contracts, but I know who to trust and who to not trust. Richard at C-Street, I'll play there any day of the week with no contract and know I'll be taken care of at the end of the night. I've not played Mid-City, but they have a great reputation as well. The ...

Seve did not say that those drummers had to use click tracks, metronomes, or otherwise. He said (if you had actually read his post) that they could and that being able to use one marked the skill of a good drummer. . this is what he sed... All those drummers can play to a click. To learn drums you ...

Here I go getting myself into trouble again. HDM, I *think* you had something to say that was worth reading, but I stopped trying to fully understand it after about five unintelligible incomplete or run-on sentences. How many times do I have to say it? If you have a point to make, please (for the s...
