Lead singer for Quiet Riot found dead at age 52.

I just hope it wasn't drugs. Can it please one time not be drugs?

I don't know, but by looking at the picture of the guy, I would say drugs...

Quiet Riot Lead Singer Kevin Dubrow Died of Cocaine Overdose

LAS VEGAS â€” The death last month of Kevin Dubrow, lead singer for the 1980s heavy metal band Quiet Riot, has been ruled an accidental cocaine overdose.

Clark County coroner spokeswoman Samantha Charles confirmed the cause Monday after toxicology results were received Monday.

Dubrow was found dead Nov. 25 at his Las Vegas home. He was 52.

Quiet Riot was perhaps best known for its 1983 cover of "Cum on Feel the Noize." The song, featuring Dubrow's powerful, gravelly voice, appeared on the band's album "Metal Health" â€” which was the first by a metal band to reach No. 1 on the Billboard chart.

DuBrow recorded a solo album in 2004, "In for the Kill," and the band's last studio CD, "Rehab," came out in October 2006.

Ok...so you don't INTEND to overdose, but I don't consider anything drug related an 'accident'...

Damnit, can't it just once be something other than drugs? It's always drugs when a musician dies. I'm looking for a little variety. Something so we're not all automatically associated with drugs.

Hello, cocaine is a powerful stimulant. Not a good idea when you're over 50 and the old ticker ain't as strong as it used to be. Jeff Porcaro, John Entwistle, now Dubrow (can't believe he'd ever be mentioned in the same breath as those other two, but I digress...)... old age and cocaine = bad idea!

How the hell could he afford it? It's not like Quiet Riot was ever really THAT big. Did he have a day job?
