Radiohead, (or I'm not a Math Teecher)

The new download site for In Rainbows will ask you an amount In BRITISH POUNDS.
My dumb move for the week:

The conversion rate is roughly 1 British Pound equals 2 US dollars, or the Brit pound is currently kicking the US dollar's butt.

Don't do what I did. I'm almost ashamed to admit this; but: I wanted to pay the average of what they are receiving from customers, which is $8.00. That is reasonable, I think.

I entered 16.00 pounds. Today I got the statement, and the conversion ratio goes THE OTHER WAY. In other words, I paid 32 DOLLARS for this album. It's good, but not THAT good!

REMEMBER: Enter HALF AS MUCH in Brit pounds as US currency for what you wish to pay.

Banging my head on the wall in remorse as I type . . .
