Moe. ? Are you serious? Have you ever actually heard us play? Am I supposed to take this seriously?

I think they won the Battle of the Bands and no amount of revisionist message board bickering will change that.

We never claimed to be the "best band in town", we were awarded first place in competition between many other local bands. Not every other local band, I can name quite a few better bands actually.

Oh, and moe. is so far off base that its actually insulting.

I was just thinking about that.

Who would you use to desribe your sound?

Presidents of the USA?

Primus?

Not moe.

I was thinking Primus meets surf rock with some Clutch for added measure.

There is a large measure of PUSA goofiness, no doubt. Basically any rockin' power trio can be used to help describe.

Moe.....Geebus, I just can't get over that.

MOE, I definitely don't get. Primus, oh yeah, that's a pretty obvious influence. One of my favorite bands in town, and Casey's one of my 2 or 3 favorite bassists. Those other two guys ain't bad either. :P

I would say no band is the best band in town and yet all of them are.

Woah, deep and philosophical.

A man went into a butcher's shop and asked for the best piece of meat in the shop. The butcher replied, "Everything in this shop is the best. Nowhere in this shop can you find a piece of meat that is not the best."

At these words, the man was enlightened.

I've seen Moe 15+ times.

Definitely Gary doesn't sound anything like them.

Like it was said above...if you say Primus, then yes, I can see where you're coming from.

And D-Gary rocks the f'ing house no matter who they sound like, anyways.

I've only seen D.G. two, maybe three times, and don't own one of their cd's, but I've never "got" the Primus reference and def. don't hear or see anything moe-like.

sorry gotta disagree with you on this one mark. Though I think the judging could be done much better. DG "definatly" deserved the award.
