TIGHT! I hadn't heard anything about this until I got the Whatzup e-mail this morning.
June 10th will be a good day. Blues Traveler puts on one hell of a show!

Sorry about your luck. I'm not missing out on a good show just because I hate Piere's. That's like not eating the steak because it came with a side of brussel sprouts.

I try to avoid Pierre's at all costs. Nope, I'm not a purist, but f**k that place and every person that goes in there. I get my dirty P's fix twice a year - girls night and Whammy Awards.
Also, I am not a fan of Blues Traveler.

To each his/her own.
I, too, avoid the place at all costs. Honestly, I would care less if the place blew up overnight.
However, no venue here in Fort Wayne books national bands that I like. Piere's is the only venue where I can see bands like Blues Traveller, Ratdog, Dark Star Orchestra, Gov't Mule. The place may suck and these concerts may be few and far between, but I'll definitely give them props for at least making an attempt to satisfy those of us who
don't worship everything that's shoved down our throats via commercial radio.
It may only happen once per year but for that one night, I'm there enjoying the music, not the bar and/or the yuppie f*cks that go there.

I was on the guestlist.
I'm not the biggest fan of Mule. I only went because Warren Haynes doesn't come to Fort Wayne too often.
