Awesome performance.

Seemed more surreal with the downpour going on.

Water on instruments,... can't even fathom how that
didn't mess up the production/performance.

(this goes back to the domed stadium requirement)

Try adding foil to the rabbit ears attached to the set.

Yeah...I got the 'FOX55 Starter Kit' in the mail last week.

Included the extra large foil roll and one of the fancy tri-color wheels that you spin in front of the screen to 'enhance' the picture...

That would be a funny prank to throw together a box like that and mail to about 50 random locals...

With lame instructions explaining that the FCC is requiring 55 to 'upgrade' and that they are expecting the burden to fall on the customer...heh.

:::BACK ON THREAD:::

Did anyone think it was cool that Raymond Burr sang the Anthem?

Hmmm...

Thought he was dead.

In an effort to avoid the Devito - I'm actually gonna give Prince about a 4 out of 10. Maybe a bonus point to knock it up to a 5 because he was playing in a monsoon. But to be honest I expected a lot more from him. C'mon, he made a little kiss noise at the end of the FF cover - he couldn't have given me one verse of Kiss? And where were Raspberry Beret or Little Red Corvette? Only one verse of Purple Rain? I had HUGE expectations for this, thought it would be the best halftime show of my lifetime. Ended us giving it an ehh, when all was said and done.

that was rough. I thought it was nice that he sang it fairly straight though. No extra vocal gymnastics, which seems a rarity lately. Of course, by the sound of things he may not have been able to do any vocal gymnastics if he had wanted to.
