The Widow Jenkins(Ex-Chronic Chaos, Ripped Away) originally started back in September 2003. The band wrote and recorded a self titled EP that created a decent buzz. In May of 2004...The Widow Jenkins met its demise. The members went their seperate ways...trying to fill the void that the break up left in its wake.

Chris "Swiss" Swinney began touring all over north america with various bands such as The Reason(Smallman Records), Brazil(Immortal Records), and Underminded(ex-Kung Fu Records)...working as tour manager, guitar tech, and playing bass for the latter two respectively.

Bryan "The Jackyl" Nelson was hired by mobile recording company, Disc Live...and toured with the likes of Vertical Horizon(RCA) and The Fixx(MCA)...while also working at Sonic Iguana Studios during his time home with bands like Break The Silence(Hopeless Records) and Big In Japan.

Aaron Glass moved to Indianapolis...started Art School...and wrote and recorded numerous acoustic themed songs of his own.

Adam Glass moved to Indianapolis...formed a new band called Istari, and released an EP. He also began writing short stories...one of which he had the honor of having published.

Brandon Beaver formed a new band called Ari Ari...wrote and recorded an album...toured the country...and now resides in Indianapolis.

After many talks about how much fun the band had been...the members decided to reunite...and that brings us to where we are now. With new drummer Jake Dwiggins(The Dire, Dead Thieves) in tow...The Widow Jenkins is poised to take over the music world! It feels good to be back!!!

I have read pretty much all 12 Henry Rollins books. He is my hero...all because of that tour we did back in '99. I own all of his dvds, cds, etc.

Still haven't seen him live yet. How is the band doing?

=Tour Memory=

Tour memory #2:

Me: "Hey Paul, what's up"?

Homeless man: "They took my mo'orcycle up to Raleigh, North Carolina. Then they took my shirt, my pants, my shoes."

Me: "Ok, so what about the shirt, pants and shoes you are currently wearing?"

Homeless man: "See that piece of cardboard over there? Later I'm gonna git me a marker and make me a sign that says. . .

HEEEEEEEEEEEEYY!"

That guy was deep! Real deep!

The band is doing very well.
