I would love to see some of the REAL singers on here give this a shot and boot off the crappy pop hacks.

Taking place at Glenbrook Mall

And if you DO make it, I'll pay you $20 to kick Randy Jackson in the face the very first time he says "dawg".

Great poster but where the hell is it taking place? What lower level by what elevators?

Not that I'm considering going cuz I'm like, 2x the age limit but was just curious where this is taking place.

It's for internal use at the Mall.

so no reference to location.

Ah, the old IUATM flyer....I get it.

Should he try out, and assuming he clean up a bit, locally, I predict Munger will sweep this next season.

Maybe I'm a literalist, Double, but......

I would say that the contest is taking place at the mall.

By the elevator.

Although I did have to read into it a little.

And since there's only one multi-level mall within 100 miles of here, and it only has one elevator, I'm guessing if you go to the Food Court lower level of Glenbrook, you'll find the competition. If you happen to enter on the upper level, take the elevator. It'll be near all the action.

God, did i wake up on the wrong side of the bed today or what?

All that aside, I think it would be cool for a locally talented vocalist to enter this and blow everyone away. I'm thinking that most of the entrants will be soccer moms and parent-prodded kiddie darlings that THINK they can sing.

As much as I try to ignore Idol, it IS a worldwide phenomenon....Wouldn't it be cool to have a local guy/girl in the lights?

Dude--- a true "literalist" would be prone to ask for clarification on where, exactly, "literally" the event is taking place. But since it's an "internal flyer" it all makes sense if one knows the context. But I didn't. So I asked for clarification.

So if you're beeeoching at me for asking for details cuz you're grumpy, sweet. I love grumpy people. Keep up the good work, cuz i will literally grump right back at ya'.

Money? Or flyers?

Is 92.3 a part of this? 95.1----same radio group?

Curious. Do you know how much airplay
any of the Idol performers current vs previous
releases are requested/played on any of
the local stations.

No.

92.3 The Fort delivers a torrential downpour of sweet classic rock, clinically tested and developed to make your life better, your wallet fatter and your face more handsome.

95.1 is sappy music created by the devil to lull the masses into a senseless stupor.

Seriously? We're Federated Media...they're Sarkes Tarzian. Both local companies (Elkhart and Bloomington, actually)--but different ones.

As far as the Idol performers on local stations, both Majic and WMEE have played them as they've hit....don't know if any of them lasted past the initial burst of fame. 14:59, anyone?

I'd be willing to bet Kelly Clarkson gets lots of airplay.
