Stereo Deluxe delivers Indy Power-Pop to Pierre's
If you’re not one of the lucky ones trekking to Bonnaroo this weekend, rest assured there's a variety of shows right here in Fort Wayne to help you get your concert fix. For your hardcore and/or hip-hop hankering, bust a move to Sunset Hall. For locals doing locals, head to Anderson's mom's house or to Cover Me Badd at Mid City Grill. But. if midwest power-pop is your thing, check out Stereo Deluxe this Saturday when they open for Saliva at the newly-remodeled Pierre’s. The show starts at 9p.m. sharp; doors at 8p.m. Tickets will be $18.00 tomorrow, but you can save $3 by picking up yours today.
Based out of Indianapolis, Stereo Deluxe is made up of Jay Elliott (vocals, guitar), Ben Tatum (guitar, vocals), Luke Schneider (bass, vocals) and Matt Hogan (drums). They're currently touring the region in support of their self-titled debut cd, out now on Indie500 records.
Stereo Deluxe won the 2005 Indianapolis ‘Battle of the Bands’ and have been described by Nuvo Newsweekly as, "undeniably catchy with links to 70's rock swagger.”
Listen to the band before the show and decide for yourself. Visit www.stereodeluxemusic.com or check out them out on Myspace at www.myspace.com/stereodeluxe.[/u]
