Didn't Sturm play a couple years ago?

Zach didn't D. Gary play this thing last year?

Nope, they would never accept us. Sturm played last year and Casey filled in on bass for him, said it was terrible.

Go Dog Go played this once or twice, I can't remember. The problem is they split it over like 20 venues, all of which are barely attended. Better to have it at 5 venues and get the crowds up. We played with bands from Chicago, Milwaukee etc and it was good for networking and gig swapping (though we never did). The only venues that get a crowd are the 2 or 3 that have a national act headlining (each venue gets 4-6 bands).

Sub-Surface submitted a couple years ago...didnt get selected unfortunately...went down to watch some of the hip-hop acts that were...some were dope, some werent...but later found out that many of those selected were already members of a distrobution company that was involved w/ the promoting of the Summit.

Also last year Nearest Nova and Twilight Sentinels were selected...but they had them perform at a club that was in NO WAY conducive to a good hip-hop show (ask Sankofa)...and had them perform at like 5pm....crazy...
