Ubisoft revealed the first year’s content for The Division 2

Post by mmocs »

Ubisoft has revealed the first year’s content for the upcoming Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. In a new trailer for the game, the company revealed that all content will be free, but players who buy the Gold or Ultimate editions of the game will get the Year 1 pass. The pass will come with cosmetic bonuses and early access to the new content, and go on sale as a standalone purchase when Ubisoft releases The Division 2 on March 15.

The Division 2's Year 1 content release will be available to all players, and is being described as following an "endgame-first philosophy." These content updates will include new Episodes, free major updates with additional narratives and missions, new PvP and PvE gameplay modes, and new specializations for Agents. The latter will also feature new signature weapons and skill trees, which should help keep the game fresh post-launch.

This information is present on the game's product page over on the official Ubisoft store, but it's only available under the Ultimate Edition. Here's what it says in full: "Year 1 Pass grants 7-day early access to all Year 1 Episodes, instant access to all Year 1 Specializations as they release, 8 Classified Assignments: The fall of DC, along with exclusive cosmetics and additional in game activities." Buy Cheap The Division 2 Phoenix Credits from Mmocs.com gain a 3% discount by using the code “MMOCSVIP”.

As mentioned, there’s also a paid Year 1 Pass. Much like with Ghost Recon Wildlands, the season pass is mainly for those who want to get a headstart on new content – you’ll get one-week early access to the free episodes and can instantly unlock new Specializations. You’ll also get access to some exclusive cosmetics and “classified” missions.

The Division 2 is releasing on PS4, Xbox One, PC on March 15. Ubisoft is offering three variants of The Division 2 – base game, the Gold Edition, and the Ultimate Edition. Pre-ordering the base game gives access to the private beta and the Capitol Defender Pack: including Exotic SPAS-12 Shotgun, the weapon blueprint, and the Hazmat 2.0 outfit.

Regardless of which edition you choose to purchase, all pre-orders will give players access to the game's private beta that was announced back at E3. Ubisoft is staying quiet on the beta dates right now and will release more details in the future. Players who want to take part in the beta but don't want to pre-order the title just yet can still sign up for a chance to participate on this website too. Finally, all pre-orders will also get the "Capitol Defender Pack", which includes a Hazmat 2.0 Outfit, a weapon blueprint, and "The Lullaby", an exotic SPAS-12 Shotgun.
