Hi, all you animal lovers. This is pretty simple... Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals. It takes less than a minute (...

As far as which CD or DVD materials to buy, at the beginner stage they are all the same. I like to use a CD because I can repeat or loop things more easily than DVD. I learned the basic chords and then started learning to play some songs with the Hal Leonard Rock Guitar course and CD (Barnes & Noble...

I started with a Yamaha acoustic. My fingers hurt so badly that I nicknamed it "killer." After 6 months I bought an ovation acoustic and I only use "killer" for slide now. Prepare for some pain starting out. I think a lot of people here would agree that it is easier to play chords on an electric gui...

Hey, if you want to take some time in making your decision, I will loan you one of my guitars and you can experiment until you have a sense of what to buy. Most people start with an acoustic and then buy an electric. I started playing when I was about 45 and I learned using interactive CD instructio...

I wrote a song for just this occasion. The BiPolar Band.
It starts out all soft acoustic, sunshine & puppy dogs ands then turns dark and driving metal, like Nirvana, and then their medication kicks in and it's all sweet & happy again. I always wanted to put together a fake band just to shoot the video.

Grave Robber artwork

A quick easy test is to shrink it down to the size of the previous image and see if it communicates as well.
I think a lot of the photo and text will be less prominent. It's a good concept, but not much contrast.

Yeah, I recognized the guitar from your avatar, and now you've gone and changed it to the Reverend Bob.

Hole in the Wall

Let me know if they still have my painting "Blazing Rock" on the wall at The Hole in the Wall in Austin.

Sketch Pad

You could do a flipbook animation with the Post-it Pad, using one of your short story/ lyrics. You already have your leading man. All you need is a couple of really long phone calls.

http://fineartamerica.com/featured/coincidence-daniel-bourbonnais.html This is a painting I did a few years ago. I suspect that there are several people who frequent this site that do Graphic Production work, as I do. Whenever I have some free time at work I like to get on the internet and check ou...

Down the Line at the Embassy

I don't get it. The Embassy was packed, there were 5 local bands and nobody has anything to say about it?
I thought I Wombat stole the show, and the graphics onscreen were a great support for the bands.
What do you think?

Anderson's Big Bday Bash

I enjoyed the show. It was a lot of fun. The bands are all very entertaining. I do enjoy the occasional classic rock cover tune.
I tried to attach some photos. My view during LLC was partially obscured due to the crowd.
