Phish - I don't miss the band as much as I miss the feeling I had (whether self-induced or not) the day of the show. The anticipation, the pre-partying...the experience is what I miss more than anything. A lot of the best times I've ever had involved going to see a Phish show. I've never flown somewhere (Vegas) or driven somewhere as far as Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation in Florida (NYE '99-00) to see a band. I miss that feeling but at the same time, I'm kind of glad they called it quits.
Gold Room - (Jackson Stookey, Todd Martz aka toddzilla on here, Dean Heckman, Greg Gsell, and at one point, Chris Carmichael) A local band a few of you may have seen before. Most of them live in Nashville now (check out SWURVE - www.myspace.com/intoswurve and stay tuned as the band looks for a lead singer and lead guitar) They were great. I've seen them play probably 150-200 times and the shows never got old. I look forward to the yearly reunion for the 4th. Lots of memories come rushing back every time I see these fellas play.
BBQ Pork Sub @ Subway - It pains me that this was ever removed from the menu. It's the best sub they've ever had to offer and for some reason, none of them have it around here. I know it's not removed from ALL Subways because I've gotten it when out of town. Subway, you disappoint me. Just wait until another Jimmy John's opens up on the north side.
High School - You were so much fun. I had a roof over my head that I didn't have to pay for. Mom bought the food, did dishes, bought most of my clothes, paid bills...all I did was get a job, collect a few pay checks, quit the job and spend the money on "extra-curricular activities". I miss having no worries except for when I would stay up all night before a big project was due and I'd end up getting an 'A' on it. If I didn't want to go to work, I would call-in sick or just quit. Disposable jobs rocked!
Cheddar Lover's Bacon Cheeseburger @ Wendy's - Wendy, you f'ing whore. You keep bringing back the Bacon Mushroom Melt every 3 f'ing months but what the hell happened to the Cheddar Lover's Bacon Cheeseburger? You redheaded b*tch...you should be mule kicked in the face for this. That burger was the best damn thing you've ever had to offer. It's been over 2 years. If this is a joke, it's a bad one because I'm getting upset. Bring it back or I will start pulling a "Fire in the Hole" every time I use your drive-thru.

i thought they were a fantastic band, up and down. i didnt like, however, that it seemed to become "angela's band" late in the fort wayne days.
one of the many that you see live, and tell a friend "they should be out of here by now".
a fantastic group of musicians that gelled well on stage, and never disappointed me- short answer.

Angela is in a band in LA....Leda Atomica. They won a huge contest of Indie bands. Angie loves LA. I saw her many times when I was out there for work 4 years ago. She did do a show last summer )Leda Atomica) with just another Guitar and a Laptop Back-up band. Rushville did a few shows off and on when Angie stopped in town over the years as well, but most folks are to young to remember the bands heyday, or never even saw the band....
A band I miss is Goodnight Maxine.

I remember when CSW was just the small back room, and the stage was on the far end from the steet. The front bar was there, but it was a small place. No back bar yet.adam atherton wrote:i'm an old fool from the old school that's not cool....dofus hipster wrote: most folks are to young to remember the bands heyday
