What ever happened to...

I started tracking down some bands I used to love back in the day (90's-00's), I wanted to see if they were still out there making music, and guess what, most of them are, they just don't have the label/radio support anymore.

Got any links to bands that are still active and making music? I'd like to know about them.

Yeah, I loved the Bosstones. They broke up a few years ago. Another one of my favorite 90's bands: Gin Blossoms. They're still going at it.

Whatever happened to Pearl Jam? They put out three great albums then someone stole their name and started selling complete and total crap under the guise of a great band.

i was soooo disapointed in the last album. Was good, but not Pearl Jam good. At least they are still doing what they do though

I liken PJ to Metallica in that they just up and changed their style out of nowhere. While I respect their right and artistic license to change and grow, I just felt that everything after Vitalogy (with the exception of a few tracks here and there) was merely a shadow of Ten, Vs. and Vitalogy.

Eddie, Stone, Jeff, and Mike are still four of my faves. Matt Cameron is good too, but I prefer Dave Krusen, Dave Abruzzesse (sp) and Jack Irons' work. It would just be nice to hear them rock the truck out again.

I still remember the first time I heard Evenflow. I went out and picked up 10 that night. I miss THAT Pearl Jam.

Yeah, back in the days when McCready was stealing from Hendrix and SRV in every song. . .but you didn't care because it was that damned good.

. . .and I've always had a weak spot for Jeff Ament. Not a real show-off-y bassist, but really good at keeping a song together.

. . .him and Robert DeLeo from STP. . .except I think Robert was a lot better.
