His version is 1000 times better than the original and hearing it really moves me emotionally. I mean, this is by far one of THE best performances of any song ever by anyone. You can feel his decades of pain and loss mingled with love and joy and a host of other things. I've never heard anyone convey emotion in the way that Cash did with this tune.
I easily put this song in my top 5 of all times.
