I am assuming that this is Tim "Bushong's" recording studio review page? If it is, I would not work with anyone else in this area but Bushong. I really believe that his final product is better. It seems that alot of recording engineers have a rough time reproducing a good drum sound - Tim absolutely has it down.

He is also a stellar musician who really gave me a lot of great ideas. Not everyone wants a recording engineer to come up with ideas, but I welcome all input from Tim (musical & productionwise).

It seems a lot of people don't like the drive to Syracuse; but the 45 minute drive was actually very beneficial to me, because I could totally focus on what I wanted to do that particular day, wrote my thoughts down & I could warm my voice up too. After I left the sessions, I had 45 minutes to dissect what we recorded that day.......I came up with a lot of great song ideas while making that 45 minute drive.

Just listen to anything he's ever done.....it's top shelf.

If you need a guitarist on the session, Tim's a monster player as well, and his kid is one of the best drummers I've ever heard.

And just to show you it's not all about the technology, he mostly uses cheap ($100 - $300) mics and is running 5 or 6 year old software on an old PC (I think he's still in Windows 2000)
