Wooden Nickel is great. I've never had a complaint. The staff doesn't jump out at you with their latest uses car salesman sales pitches. They have something for everybody and if you can't find it, just ask and there's a good chance they will order it for you. Prices are very reasonable. They buy/sell used CD's and DVD's. They stock local tunes! There's really nothing that I dislike about Wooden Nickel.

Yeah I mean the Times Corners one doesnt have half the selection that Clinton does, but WN still holds it own as a local record store.

Especially with the 7 dollar used CDS, I only buy CDs at BB if I am already thier to get something else and the cd is on sale.

And if you're lucky, every now and then you'll find some GREAT CD's for .99 @ the North Clinton store (*cough* ween - quebec *cough*)

I found "ABC, Another Bad Creation" there for .99 a few years ago. What a jewel that was.

what good is a review topic if they're all good reviews, might as well call it the "lick wooden nickels balls" thread. subteranian was my favorite local album shop, when it was out north not downtown.

It is decent. Let's see... I really like a place in Ohio but I can't think of the name of it right now... I'll remember it later and post it.

The crazy thing is that Wooden Nickle is nice and they do carry the goods as far as local music goes but I wish the selection was even larger... they do have an amazing selection as it is... but I wish it was even bigger.

Subteranian sucked out north. Lost all of its credit when they moved and changed formats.
