Turkey Bird Jam - November 23, 2007.

Yes indeed folks.........the TBJ is just around the corner!

You are invited to the 18th Annual Turkey Bird Jam. Last year quite a few Fort Wayne Music guys showed up and had a great time.

I can feel it in the air.

The Friday after Thanksgiving (the date this year is November 23) you are all invited to share in a musical free-for-all.

Options:

Bring your whole band. Blow us away.

Show up with just your axe. Or use the house guitar "Old Willie"...... If you need anything nicer than that you better bring it.

Plug into any of the amps not being used at the time. Marshall, Fender, Randall.........Or bring your whole rig.

House drum set provided.

Been working on what you believe is the HOTTEST lick known (or not known) to mankind? Lay it on us. We'll fill in the groove.

Make some new friends.

Find the bass player you and your drummer have been looking for since high school.

Whatever your style - bring it. Blues. Rock. Metal. DeathHop. Funk. Electronica. Acoustic. You name it - we'll dig it.

You are whole-heartedly invited to show up and enjoy nothing but the very best jam session of the year.

This is out in the country. Yes - you can crank it up. Yes we have all the equipment needed to put some sound in the air.

Just show up. Around sunset.

Between Kendallville and Avilla. A mile or so away from Noble Hawk Golf Course.

Sorry kids - no under age drinking. If you're not 21 don't even think about it.

PM me if you have any specific questions about this event.

great time

Oh, you know I'll be there.
And Rapp better be there, too.
Hopefully Dennis again as well.
Arney and I are like the tightest rhythm section around!
Crap, can't remember his name...Trenton? I jammed with him at that lake near Warsaw last year.
It'd be cool is he was there too.
And I'm gonna invite all the crazy bands I know:)

Answering a few questions about the TBJ

A few guys have PM'ed with questions so it will be easier to reply for all to see.

Can you bring your band? Yes. We dare you. If you think you can win over a crowd of musicians - this is your chance to shine!

What about bringing your own amp? You can - but don't need to. We've got a few Marshalls you can plug into.

Will that chick from Michigan be there again? Yes. "The Pricess of the North Woods" is looking forward to it!

What about food? As usual a 23lb. turkey will be ready to go at roughly 9 pm.

Is it cool to drink alcohol at the TBJ if we're not legally old enough? Uh, no. But please come and have a good time. You know - it is possible to jam and have fun without it. Though there is certainly plenty of beer, etc. at the TBJ Remember - no hard drugs please. And no under age drinking.

Oh - and one guy (or gal) axed how many people come to this thing. I think last year maybe 40? That's a guess though.

So come on out and have a great time !!!!!!!

yeah buddy
