Yo, Im a drummer at the age of 18 going to 19 looking for a metal band that is located in fort wayne around jefferson point or in the area around somewhere in that general area. I dont have many years on me but i did take drumline and is most dedicated to playing music and wanting to make music for my career. Im not Derek Roddey and at this point cant play as fast as him but I strive every day and practise all the time I have on my set. Bands I like to kinda get sounding like would probley be like old metalica, Lamb of god, slayer, The human Abstarct, Tool, little bit of Morbid Angel,Exduse, and others of that type. I like to play to breakdowns and offtiming, screach break downs, some medelic, and just some out of ordinary wierd but cetchey riffs. I dont want to play to much punk but a singer like the one on Automns to Ashes would be sic.

whats up man, read your post and from what i gathered you're pretty much exactly what we've been tryin to find...im james the guitarist. I'm 20 and doin the same stuff you are in terms of where i am and how I'm progressing in my playin. Right now it's just me and the lead singer Chris...he's 25, been in a few bands. He writes all his own lyrics, and everything we do is original, we had a drummer but he was more of a nickelback style drummer..good but not what we're lookin for in terms of metal and timing...both of us work at sweetwater sound so we pretty much eat sleep and sh*t music....we'd like to check you out on your set ASAP man so get back with us when you can and hopefully we can get something set up!!! hope to hear from ya soon dude, James & Chris
