I am a 37 year old male percussionist. Some of my playing experience includes,1st place in 1986 state marching band contest,best band and drumline. I marched with The Star of Indiana in 1987-88. In 1988, I joined the military.I was in a ARMY U.S.O big band show and travelled Europe for 2 years entertaining our troops.I then went to an Army concert band for a year playing military balls and festivals. In 1992 I moved to Tempe Arizona to attend college at A.S.U. I met a fellow musician and formed a band called Saturn Rising. Robin Wilson,the lead singer & rythm guitarist later went on to form Gin Blossoms.Saturn Rising was a Alt.Rock with some hints of blues. I relocated back to Indiana in 1995 and have played in a wide variety of bands from jazz/fusion to as of late, metal-rock. I read music,have professional gear (Tama drums,Sabian cymbals, L.P. percussion accessories all mounted on a pearl curved rack supported by D.W. hardware and pedals), and am dependable . I am open to playing anything except country.I am available for practice 2-3 times /week and any show. I would prefer to play heavier original music.I prefer no covers but am open to the idea if needed.i just want to play good clean hard rock and roll. I am guitarist interested in fazz fusion. I'm not into rock really, but have wanted to do some rock covers in a fusion context. Have you ever heard blood sweat and tears version of manic drepression? One of my favorite drummers is Bill Cobham. I'd like to add your number to my book if its cool. Good jazz musians are hard to come by. Mick

I am a guitarist with similar interests. I sing and play some keys as well.

I'm more into fusion and progressive rock, but like anything that's well constructed and original. I'm very interested in starting something
that can't necessarily be defined ahead of time.
