Acoustic Unplugged Project

I am going to take a shot at putting together a 4 piece "unplugged" group. I play guitar and sing. I am looking for a second guitarist, bass and hand percussion (drum set may also work). I would like a lot of vocals/ harmonies so if you can sign too that is a plus. Type of music is pseudo-current pop music Matchbox 20, John Mayer, Counting Crowes, Jars of Clay, Guster, etc. If you are like me, you don't have oodles of hours to spend figuring out tunes and endless nights practicing to prepare. This group will be a laid back, sit down, use lyric sheets with chord charts kinda thing and rely on good musicianship with maybe a bit of "jam band" for creativity. Practice once a week, gig 3-4 times per month. Age doesn't matter (I'm 43 with many years of gigging experience) but I would like folks that can read chord charts and can pick up a tune rather quickly. Most important is to have fun and make a few bucks (to support my music gear addiction). Drop me a reply or email me at ac2114@comcast.net - Dr. Drew

Thanks Taylor. Good luck to you as well. You would need to be old enough to play in bars.

i'm 15...but my older brother and sister both said you dont have to be 21 to gig in the clubs and bars.I play acoustic and electric.I can't read notes, but I know chords.

I played in my church youth band for awhile with electric and occasionaly acoustic.I can play almost anything I can read..chords or tabs...or just seeing it and memorizing it.

I started to put up a website. So far I have only posted one of my original tunes (I play all instruments and sing on the tune so you can get an idea of my musical background). Hope to do more with the website later. Heres the link:
