Super Bowl Excitement Growing

Fort Wayne is definitely getting excited about Super Bowl Sunday. A banner sponsored in part by WANE-TV now hangs in downtown Fort Wayne. City officials are taking advantage of Coach Tony Dungy's comment that the game should be played here.
And the funniest quote from the story...
Coach Dungy and Coach Smith, who are close friends, will also receive a letter inviting them to stay in Fort Wayne for a post Super Bowl getaway weekend.
Tourism is going to skyrocket thanks to Dungy's comment!!!!

I think what he ACTUALLY said was: 'Thank God we didn't have training camp in Fort Wayne...we would have never made it this far..." or something along those lines...

"It's a shame we have to go to Miami. We should just go to Fort Wayne and play this thing off."
The reporter is the one that said something about "splitting the difference". Dungy never said anything about halfway.

Fort Wayne feels like those sorry jackasses that hang around outside the Today Show studio just hoping they'll get their face on t.v. for 5 seconds.

"They mentioned us on national TV. Ooh, yippee, we're big-time now."
