CUBS GET: Rob Bowen (C), Cash, Minor League Prospect

I'm puzzled. Unless there's another trade on the horizon, Hendry's thrown me for a loop with this one. For a team that's "trying" to contend for the division, I don't understand it. Why downgrade?

I'm sticking with the hope that another trade is soon to be made...

Just finished researching.

Though I still don't think it's even close to an upgrade (or addition by subtraction like some dumbasses are saying), it may not turn out to be a bad trade, afterall. Only time will tell. I personally wouldn't have pulled the trigger on the trade but that's why I'm here and Hendry's there. We'll see.

Barrett not hitting for sh!t anyway, and fighting with 2 pitchers in the dugout. Good riddance, I'll take Hill and Blanco thanks.

Blanco's career could be over.

Barrett "not hitting for sh*t" is still better than both Catchers (combined) on the active roster. (Hill and Bowen)

Things have been great lately, though. Maybe that move is what they needed. I'll roll with it.
