Name: Zachary Boyd Smith (My middle name is my mother's maiden name!)
Age: 25 of your Earth years.
Sex: I'm all man, lady!
Ethnicity: I got some dominant Portuguese genes up in here.
I was born and raised in Decatur, IN, some 20 miles south of where I live now. As a young lad I developed a strong interest in cartoons, and playing in the dirt, and cats. I ended up being a big "Heathcilff" fan in the long run. That being said, I have seen every episode of the Simpsons and I can almost quote and episode if you tell me which one it is.
I attended Adams Central Community Schools which consisted of one giant bulding housing grades K-12. How about that? I went to the same school for 13 years! I was the girl's volleyball manager for four years, and I must say I am an excellent back row specialist (I got no ups
. ) Anyways, I graduated as class president and went on to attend Balls/Taint University in Muncie.
I flunked out of BSU in two semesters (I was really depressed, like I sent my roomate for food and wouldn't leave my room.) From there I kicked it around the Decatur area for a few years and started hanging with the greatest batch of dudes on the planet, for that I am thankful. And then, BOOM!, most of us moved to Fort Wayne.
About 5 years ago in a damp, cold, cat poop filled basement, I joined in with a couple of guys and we started making music together. Having come from completely different musical backgrounds, theirs good to mine awful, was a strange and awkward experience, but I've learned a helluva lot from them and I wouldn't want to work with anyone else. I appreciate "the funk" now more then ever.
I have been currently up to this:
After 15-17 odd jobs here and there I finally got my dream job of managing one of the Wooden Nickel stores about 6 months ago. Awesome!
I am going back to school and majoring in Biology with a hope in furthering that to a masters in Marine Biology. I wanna work with sea otters and what not.
I am living with my girlfriend of about a year, Vicki. I am quite content and happy with this and she is an awesome lady.
Definitely Gary is just getting better to me. The new stuff we come up with when we get together is so much fun and challenging, musically, to me. I only wish we had more time to get together than we already do. I absolutley love Jon and Casey and thank them for all the time they've put into my punk-ass.
