Like-minded bands?

My uncle plays for a band called Downward Dog in Lafayette,IN. They are a mixture of Queens of the Stone Age,Kyuss, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Nebula. Are there any other like-minded bands to trade shows with around here?
