BTW, Lou, Shelly will be looking for a band before too long. If you know of a situation that suits her, let her know.

raises hand. don't know if I can do two bands at once, but she's an amazing talent and I'd sure as heck give it a shot.

I'm so glad to see Shelly will be playing again. She was always one of my favorite female fronts and it's nice to have her back in the scene!

Rock on!!!

Yep, she's totally awesome... voice, energy, charisma in spades. She did a killer job on this bank jingle we just wrapped up.

This wasn't a stock "we're here for you" small-town bank jingle. They wanted a song that portrays a person's dedication to and love for their hometown. The requirements were: it had to be personal and emotional, written from the point of view of the signer, in a "classic rock" style that fit their Southern Illinois market, we needed a male and female version with individual lyrics, and the last line had to contain the Bank's slogan "Where Great Things Happen."

Here it is, with Shelly on vox.

The male version was done by Mark Magdich from Brother, who was the doornail-perfect choice.
