Hi, my name is Jessica and I am getting married on September 15th, 2007. We are currently in the process of trying to find a band -- we had one booked since July and they just recently cancelled on us. Do any of you ever play weddings? We are looking for someone experienced with wedding crowds, reliable, fun, professional, and who plays a variety of dance music, ranging from 40's/50's to today. Please let me know if you are interested! Thanks!
P.S. The wedding will be held in Fort Wayne, in case you were wondering.

Hi Jessica,
I tried to PM you but kept getting an error message so I thought I'd post my reply to you.
Just wondering if you have found anyone to play your wedding yet. I'm in the band Good Night Gracie. We play a wide range of music (not quite back to the 40's and 50's but all very fun songs). We are very dance oriented and have played a wedding in the past. You can check out our website at
www.graciesmusic.com for song clips and video. If you are interested, drop me an email and I can send you a full song list (
jen@graciesmusic.com). We are playing at 469 Sports and Spirits on December 29th if you would like to see a show (which we recommend before hiring anyone). Feel free PM back if you have any questions.
Live to Love, Love to Live!!

North River Agents might be interested - if you want a bunch of dirty, old, ugly, bearded men at your wedding hitting on the bridesmaids...
Seriously, we would consider playing it. We'll even learn requests. Come see us December 22 at O'Sullivans for a good idea of how we sound - I second Jen in highly recommending you do so before hiring a band...

I still get a kick outta your (nearly american) keyboard player.
That guy gives me workout just watching him.
Now if you could just bottle that energy.

Actually he is fully American now. It was official a few weeks ago. It's kind of a bummer, we have to find new things to make fun of him for.
There are nights when I struggle to keep singing I'm laughing at him so hard. If you could bottle that it would be a million dollar business.
