The Prefect is currently looking for shows in the Fort Wayne area. The Prefect is a product of five high school aged musicians from the outskirts of Leo. The band has made a name for themselves in the Leo area and now are looking to gather more of a fan base and local standing.

The Prefect has a wide list of influences and has many different sides of the band. Some influences are Led Leppelin, Hendrix, Ac/DC, A Perfect Circle, Slipknot, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, and Future Leaders of the World. The band can reach out with a hard hitting song to have the crowd pumped than to a melodic number with a well placed solo right before an acoustic song.

Although The Prefect has an original sound they could be compared to other bands but does not accurately portray the music. If anything close to The Prefect, Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle are the front runners. They could be listed under metal for the harder songs and for everything else they could be put under the category of punk rock or stright up rock and roll.

The band is currently working to put a demo together and does not have any samples of their music on the internet. If it is needed to hear The Prefect before booking, something could be arranged or a rough recording could be thrown together.

Well first off, you need a press pack of some sort or at least a demo.

Most bars will not let you play if you are not all at least 18. I think Bottoms Up is the only bar I can think of.

Sunset, The Basement, & Convolution Records are the only All Ages places that I can think of.

Sunset Hall you need to get ahold of Kent or Pyro.

The Basement you need to contact Adam Walker.

Convolution doesnt not do regular shows but if you talk with the Built to Shine Arts Collective, you may be able to get on one of thier Benefit shows.

Other then that, wait a few years and then hit the bars. I would however still like to hear a demo.
