I don't want to take anything away from JB and Kage the Rage, but I just found out that David Cross was an executive producer for the original HBO series and wrote one of the episodes.

Okay, so he's not really the genius behind it, but his involvement explains why the end product was so good. Sorry for the misleading topic subject heading title thing.

David Cross is a badass.

that's not really all that surpising considering the D got their start on Mr. Show.

That is a piece of trivia that I do not know. Guess I need to do more research.

Heh. The fun of research. Their break was Mr. Show, but they got their start long before that while they were in an acting troupe doing a play written by Tim Robbins. Friggen A. That explains why he was in "The Pick of Destiny."

I love the interwebs.

Might also be why Jack Black was in Bob Roberts.

I remember seeing the D in a horrible old Pauly Shore movie. Biodome, maybe? Encino Man?

(who am I kidding? I secretly love horrible old Pauly Shore movies. But not NEARLY as much as a man I know. That man would be Casey Stansifer who, by the way, has the WORST TASTE IN MOVIES EVER!!!)

It was Biodome. If you're not watching closely, you can miss them easily.

Doctor: "I'm sorry Mr. and Mrs. Odenkirk, it's simply to late to have an abortion. Your son is four years old."

Bob: "Mommy, what's a gagortion?"
