I thought it was pretty forking cheesy.

WAY too cheesy. It seems scripted (all the stuff the contestants and hosts say), and they all suck at acting which makes it worse. It's like watching an episode of Trick My Truck. Talk about bad acting!
I do like the uphill treadmill being at the end of the course instead of the beginning. Makes for some great face first falls. Some of the new "personalities" are pretty lame too. Wolfman comes to mind. Helga could be great if she didn't suck at her job. Still, I'd rather watch that show than some of the other crap that's on. At least with this show I know to expect cheesy, so it doesn't bother me.

I got the impression a few things might have been 'fixed' as well...A few races a little too 'close' after the one person got a hell of a head start or big initial lead...
Always entertaining...

It is cheesy, but I think it is supposed to be. The original was cheesy as well.

I came across it by accident but enjoyed it. It was a throwback to my young days. Yes, it was totally cheese, but I stand by it was less cheese than dancing w/ the stars or american idol.

The competitions are decent, they get their sh*t kicked. I'd have to agree that the dialogue is pretty lame and fake, I mean Hogan and that chick are just annoying.

That *chick* as you so elegantly put it, would whoop your ass. She happens to be Muhammad Ali's daughter. . .and a prize fighting boxer to boot.

So what, she is an awful actress and is far to awkward on camera, she should stick to boxing, and leave the commentating to a pro, or at least someone with some talent.

I missed the show, but Ms Ali is far from awkward on camera. She seems as comfortable in front of a camera as her old man was every time I've seen her. I also think she's drop dead gorgeous, but maybe I'm weird. You can have the skinny chicks.

I don't think you are weird Bassjones. I agree with you. Of course I also liked her on Dancing with the Stars.

I never watch that show. I've seen her do interviews after fights and analyzing fights before.

So I went back and watched a little of her on the show and I'm willing to take back a little. She isn't as awful as I was thinking, but she isn't a great either. The banter with the contestants can be awful, mostly it is the contestants that are the worse, but I remain stead fast that Hogan does indeed suck, brother.
