Okay, time for a list. Favorite beers.

Me, the darker the better. Current faves:

Guiness - The old standby, but only on tap or cans, the bottles aren't quite right
Newcastle
Harp
Bass
MA - Porter

Honestly, its easier for me to list the beers I don't like:

Rolling Rock
Heineken

That's about it. I'll fire down anything from PBR, The Beast and High Life to New Castle, Black & Tans and just Guiness...I just love beer and I don't discriminate, except for the aforementioned pair.

I'm going to have to give it another try... Hated it when I tried it in high school... er... I mean college  but I was just developing my beer taste then...

John Courage Amber Ale. If you can find it, it's incredible.

I like a wide variety. Currently on a mission to try all 30-some flavors of Sam Adams (their Cherry Wheat is outstanding). It's really all dependent on my mood at the time. I always try to find some obscure brand and give it a shot - the cheaper the better.

Also a big fan of some of the local brews. From Mad Anthony's I'll take a Snowplow or Java Porter (close 1 and 2, can't decide). I've been trying a little Warbird recently too, good stuff. Any reccomendations.

i have never liked dark beers, but I think that is soley due to my consumption level. When I was a drinker I could easily drop 4 pitchers to myself in a night and dark beers seem to have a harder hangover level then the light ones. At least for me anyway. I tend to start getting a hangover before the night is through if drinking dark beers.

But at the 4 pticher level, I now know why I was able to loose 25 lbs in 3 weeks after quiting drinking, shesh.

Love Stella. Tried a new one in Cinci over the weekend, but I can't remember the name of it. Dutch made (I think) dark beer... similar to Newcastle, but a little more bite.

I can't stand Mad Anthony brews anymore. Drink a few too many and come down with the flu the same night...you'll feel the same.
