I'm glad that there is so much love in the room... people falling in love with Ireland, with the Glazes, with the beer list... and yet, I can't help but wonder...
Where the hell IS this place? Besides, "downtown," I mean? Should we just drive downtown and then follow the glow of love?

You know...maybe its how I am wired for promotions, But I have to agree with Silencio.
I am amazed by how many businesses (and bands) have the crappiest promotional annoncements and advertisements.
Essential things like locators, phone numbers, dates, addresses, websites, hours of operation and other info the you would *want* people to know are left out.
If I have to go out of my way to find out even the basics about your business, then I am not too interested in going.
(Hello? Saylors Pizza II on Goshen Road?)

I agree. I would have never even heard about it had I not read Matt Kelly's post about it on the Stage Banter site.

Mark... you and I, of all people (on this forum at any rate) should be the ones who have ceased to be amazed. Disappointed, sure, but not amazed any more. I mean, how many times have we had to explain this kind of thing to clients?

I think they'll have a tough time making any money, considering the smoking ban and Fort Wayne police department's aggressive drunk-driving task force.
I was told that there is a deck for smokers. My good friend is a server there. He has told me good things about the place so far.

Mark, Silencio.....
Yeah...jaded is the word of the day as far as publicity of ANYTHING in this town. Might as well (shout) in the wind, for all the good it does. There was a 'publicist' on these very boards not too long ago with a post office box. Nothing else. Clandestine Publicity! THERE"S a name for my promotions business......(service mark pending).
As far as 'good things about the place so far?" Al, last I heard they didn't have a license yet...and they don't do a public opening till Monday. I'm curious, though.....what have you heard? I'm looking forward to seeing the place, and wish them nothing but the best.......

Yeah...I was amazed at how much effort might have been put into the website, but they had no address or anything remotely related to such.
Where are you supposed to park for this place?I vaguely remember a few parking meters near that part of town...but it has been so long since I have gone down that way...
And where is Double Dragon and TAPs market also?

Except it doesn't tell you where the bar
is. Other than that, it's... well... Flash-y.

All I needed to know was that it was downtown, which means I will never go there, and i don't care.
