Why all the furor over gas prices? It works out to about $145 per car per year average difference over last year... That's barely $10 a month. Sounds like political posturing to me.

the math is wrong
At $3 a gallon my 15 gallon tank costs $45 to fill.
A once a week fill costs me $180 a month.
At $3.50 a gallon my 15 gallon tank costs $52.5 to fill.
A once a week fill costs me $210 a month.
At $4 a gallon my 15 gallon tank costs $60 to fill.
A once a week fill costs me $240 a month.
Certainly more that a $10 a month difference.
And thats an average of a once a week fill.

From $1.79/gallon (or $1.89...can't remember exactly how "low" it went) to $3.59 in 6 months.
Ridiculous no matter what kind of spin you put on it.

Hmmm...not that I am a psychologist or anything, but I think that somewhat says a lot right there...its not about someone "giving" you a job (in reply to "make more money"), its about you and taking the initiative to do something to make more money...
Now, I have no problem with someone saying, "give me a lead" or "give me an interview", because the onus is still on you to show yourself as a benefit to the "company"...but the mentality that the only way you are going to make more money is if someone gives you a job...that's just a poor attittude, in my opinion, and one that will never net you positive results unless you change it...
Okay, I'm off my soapbox now:)
