Looks to me like you posted it on 10/30 and got no responses which CAUSED it to eventually get bumped to the 2nd page due to others posting topics AFTER you posted yours.

And throwing a temper tantrum sure as hell doesn't make things any better.

I didn't delete it. I personally think the bumping policy should not apply to show threads, since as a musician I know it's important to let people know about a show early and then remind them of it later.

Then your bumping policy should be applied to all. This has happened on several occasions to us, yet I continue to see other threads getting bumped with phrases such as 'next Saturday! O's is gonna rawk'. Check my reference to The Dude's and Anderson's comments in the thread linked above. My original post was no different; something to the effect of "come have some fun Sunday". Like I said sorry I tried to promote a gig.

As to granpa Oliver above: pisssss off O' Venerable Wellspring of Fortwaynemusic.com Ownage. Most of the internet is free to visit. Are you implying this board has a pay to play policy? If so, the dues are way too high. Funny it seems to me that the whole point of this site is to promote awareness of and participation in this town's "scene".
We try to do our part but I guess it's my mistake if that term only applies to paying members or to blues, funk, and jam bands.

So you get a FREE outlet to promote your shows, which is nearly ALL of the contributions to this forum that you provide, then complain when you THINK someone messed with your post, Then RANT about how its not to your liking, and whine because YOU don't want to use the forum calender which is the ONLY thing the the Moderators ask you to do
