I think I will go to the Jelly Fish Bar, where I can smoke inside.

Florida is alright with me, I should just stay here.

I just got home from seeing Metavari at the Firehouse Theater. Best performance I have seen in a LONG time.

Then, we got to C-Street just as All Nite Skate started playing.

Now, it's just turning 12:30am and I'm sitting on the computer wishing there was something going on.

this weekend

I went to see Alabaster Fox (AMAAAAZING) w/ Mr. Doctor Professor and the ever-awesome Ben Laatsch, then went to Columbia St. in time to see All Nute Skate.

I intended to stay long enough to see some of Homeless J's set ....but... the music between bands was a bit much for me... a reggae version of a Radiohead song?! I mean, c'mon! So I left. :-)

Tomorrow night I'm going to catch 2 shows again- Christians & Lions w/ Caleb Jehl @ Firefly ... then the Brass Rail show. Yesssss!

I am not sure what band I was watching last night, it was a Jamie Simon/Brian Lemert concoction of sorts. Good laid back sh*t as always.

I am interested to know how all night skate pulled off playing a weekend at Cstreet. That is rare as hell for original bands

oh I agree, but they went over well! Still very much the Columbia Street crowd, but I overheard one woman in the restroom, "I have no idea who this (band) is, but they sound pretty."

Also, a member of a bachelorette party got onstage next to Omar and played tambourine. So it was a fine Fort Wayne moment. I was surrounded by friends and music and a particularly cold pale ale so I was happy.

sounds like a good time. I hope CStreet does that more often.
