This is our launch of the new 2011 site. Since we had some setbacks we decided to do it on our traditional New Years date rather than the Dec 1st date.

Most of these down times will be in the evening and out of peak hours. So please continue to use the new features and I apologize in advance if you hit one of those brief down times.

I will be up all night New Years eve working on the sites release. I hope everyone has a great time and safe night!

If anyone is as much of a shut in as I am and wants to hangout around 11pm - midnight; please send me a PM with your yahoo messenger name and I will let you help test the new site as I finish it.

I welcome anyone to help out, but hope everyone else has something better to do!

I wanted to leave a little feed back on what i'm seeing from my side. I know your probably not done with the upgrade. So this is more than likely something you already know. It looks as if the Normal text color is set to black and the background color is also black,, rendering the normal text invisible. You can read peoples post only if you highlight the message area.. I'm running firefox.

Prospecting 6-string-bass player (younger age range)

I'm seventeen. I live in North West Allen County. I like to sing either vocals or play bass. I cannot do both at the same time. I have no formal instruction for singing, but I practice every day to make sure it's up to code. As far as bass goes; I have had formal music training for two years, and I have studied music theory for my last semester. Throughout my 4 short years of playing, I have been in six different makeshift bands.

I play dream theater covers like "Honor Thy Father" and "panick attack" by myself with the audio track. I can't find anybody else that can do covers.

I like to define my voice as being a hybrid of james labrie (dream theater) and corey taylor (slipknot). i can switch back and forth between heavy screamo style to melodic harmonies, just like corey.

I'm looking for other younger musicians around twenty one or less.(that is, unless you don't mind the age gap and you think you can handle having a kid around.)

I really want to play some prog metal and some heavy metal.Both originals and covers. Here is a link to some peices i have written in case your wondering about sound and style.

You are allowed to play in bars...There are just rules you have to follow...like when you take your breaks you have to go outside.
